Because the "director" told her to do so, of course.This is an example of an inferior production, proof of an inferior, cynical, bankrupt mind, devoid of creativity and imagination. It's pathetic and insulting. Unfortunately, way too many are like this, oblivious to the fact that lesbianism is fairly common and there are infinite REAL scenarios to choose from. What are they afraid of? Lesbianism itself? Do they think mocking it will make it go away? If so, they are not dealing with reality.
It's a shame. There are much more useful, realistic and thus EROTIC ways to treat the subject matter, but since they apparently either can't be bothered, or see it as "dirty" and shameful, I guess that's too much to ask.
